Families: The Summer Food Service Program
has been extended until December 31st
USDA announced that it has extended the Summer Food Service
Program (SFSP) waiver through December 31, 2020 (or until federal funding
runs out). What this means is that meals are free to all children 18 and under.
This is great news that meals are more accessible to all in our community
during these challenging times.

Our Mission

The mission of Las Puertas Community School is to establish a model of a professional learning community targeting under-served populations in which all students are college ready, successful in their post-secondary endeavors, contributing members
of the community, and use strength building concepts throughout their lives. The StrengthBuilding Partners' school, Las Puertas Community School, serves as a
model for school transformation across Arizona.

There are many locations throughout Tucson that offer free breakfast and lunch during the summer months through the Summer Food Service Program. This summer Las Puertas will be a designated location from Wednesday, July 10th through Friday, July 26th. Breakfast service: 9:15 – 9:45 and Lunch 12:00 -12:30.
